Circulon Classic 14-Piece Cookware Set

This functional 14-piece set offers a complete array of cookware for the kitchen at a reasonable price. The set includes three covered saucepans in 2-, 3-, and 4-quart sizes; 5-1/2- and 8-quart covered stockpots; 8- and 10-inch shallow French skillets; and a 12-inch, 5-quart covered sauté pan. The exteriors of the pans in this set are durable hard-anodized aluminum while a hard-anodized aluminum core distributes heat evenly through the pans without hot spots. Very very slow shippment, second delay now, stiil have no product

This is not about quality of circulon product, but about quality of Amazon service related to this Circulon classic 14 pieces set.
I have purchased the set on June 7th and since then I had two notifications about my shippment is being delayed. Its June 22nd and I have received new email that the shippment is delayed till july1-july12 and this is only the estimate, can you beleave it!
So, I thought I have to share my frustration with other customer, whos gonna purchase a Circulon set here,to think twice, because you may end up waiting for this stuff monthes.

great product

I have had Circulon cookware for 13 years. After a few misshaps, I decided it was time to renew my pots and pans. I bought this 14 piece set plus a few individuals items which are not available here in Canada. Even with the misshaps, the pieces I have are still good after 13 years. And I cook a lot. The prices on Amazon are incredible. It cost me at least a third of what I would have paid here for what is available. And when my sister saw the prices, she also ordered the Circulon 14 piece set. I am glad I have a friend in Texas who could receive the items. You can't go wrong with Circulon. And they look great too.

I have to agree with E Suter...

...these pans are far from all they are cracked up to be.
I had mine given to me as a housewarming gift by my parents, five years ago. Just like E Suter says, the coating comes off no matter how well you follow the care advice. Worse still, once the coat does come off they are harder to use and the inerior of them looks more of a mess everytime you use them. The lifetime gaurantee is rubbish, unless we are taking the lifetime of an very old newt!

Holmes HAWF2043 Twin Window Fan

This double window fan draws in fresh, cool air from the outside or exhausts stale, hot air from inside. It can also do both simultaneously, because each of the two fans can be set independently to draw in or exhaust out, allowing the unit to exchange inside and outside air. I LOVE IT!

This is probably my best buy this summer! It not only brings down the temps in my room, but best of all, it freshens the air! I set one fan to exhaust and the other to intake. I leave it on at the lowest setting for a day or two. Now, when I come home from work, my room smell so fresh, dry and clean! Repeat when necessary :)

Holmes Twin Window Fan Model 2043

This fan is one of the most efficient fans, I've used. Being able to set it for different temperatures, plus using it as an exhaust fan, takes the hassle out of having to get up at night to adjust it. It is also light weight and easy to install in a window, and take out during a storm. Storage during the winter is easy because of the small size. I think they are just as efficient as an air conditioning unit when used for pulling cool air in at night. I intend on buying one more for the guest room, then my cooling system will be complete.

Nothing is perfect, but it's better than to have nothing

It's a good product, it does take out the heat from my apt. It helps my a/c works in my whole apt.

Eureka upright vacuum/Model 4870DT

Consumer Report was right: It is a best buy.
The only problem so far is the handle release toe button: really hard to work.

Good Vacuum: strong suction, sturdy construction, but a little difficult to use

Looks and feels sturdy, has very strong suction. It's a little heavy though, and some of the controls are difficult to use --for example, the foot switch which releases the handle from the upright position is so hard to depress that my wife stugggles to depress it!

Awesome vacuum,Awesome price

I bought this vaccum because of its ranking in a popular consumer magazine, and because of all the great reviews. This one definitely lives up to its billing.

It has great suction power. I have two cats and have had previous problems with other vacuums sucking up the hair. Not with this one. The attachments are great and have good sucking power.

The only draw back to this vaccum is that it is heavy. However, I don't mind that a bit since it does such a great job on carpet and wood floors.

I HIGHLY recommend this product. I convinced my brother and sister-in-law to purchase one as well. They said it made their carpets "just like new again." They have also been very pleased with the product.

great for the occassional baker

If you're like me and only bake occassionally, get this mixer instead of the expensive stand. I've made brownies, cakes and cookies all with simple ease.
This is also a great starter product and great way to tell if you're ready for the $150 upgrade to the stand.
I actually bought the 7-spd, but feel you don't really need the extra two speeds. Either one, it's a great light weight tool, which says a lot being one with whimpy arms.

It has easy to clean beaters and the shell just takes a few wipes to clean as well.

Point of Clarification...

The mixer reviewed by Cook's Illustrated, (See 'Oh My Gosh' below.) was the 7-speed KHM7T and did receive the highest marks (and also was the most expensive). This mixer was not reviewed.

NOT made in USA as Tech Data says

I'm not happy. The Amazon "Technical Data" section currently states "Country of manufacture: USA" but on the box it says "Made in China"! I go out of my way to purchase items that are made in the USA and to avoid things that are made in China. It is important to me. It's hard enough to find things (in many categories) that are are not made in China. I definitely don't appreciate being misled. Come on Amazon!

Now ... regarding the mixer itself ... we just received it and have only used it once so it's a bit early to give it a meaningful rating. However, we definitely noticed two points that many others have mentioned. It is very quiet but it is not as fast as many other mixers. My wife doesn't seem too concerned about the speed so I guess it's not a major issue but definitely noticable.
